Cheese and zataar pretzels

  • 3 sheets puff pastry (makes 6 pretzels)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Shredded cheese
  • Zataar
  • Poppy seeds
  • Sesame seeds

  1. Cut the sheet of pastry in half.
  2. Sprinkle cheese along and sprinkle zataar over the cheese. Measurements are according to your liking.

3.) start rolling tightly and form the shape of a pretzel.

4.) brush on the egg wash. Sprinkle poppy & sesame seeds.

5.) place on a tray lined with parchment paper. Bake till golden.
